We offer local flower delivery Tuesday through Saturday, with same-day delivery available for orders placed before our daily cutoff times.*

Flower Delivery FAQ
Do you offer same-day flower delivery?
Yes. We offer same-day flower delivery Tuesday through Saturday. Orders must be placed before 1 PM Tuesday through Friday or before 11 AM on Saturday.
What days do you deliver flowers?
Our delivery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10 AM–6 PM, and Saturday, 10 AM–4 PM. We do not offer regular deliveries on Sundays or Mondays.
How much does flower delivery cost?
Delivery within Guelph city limits is $12. Delivery to surrounding communities ranges from $18 to $35, depending on distance. Your delivery fee is automatically calculated at checkout using the recipient's address.
What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver throughout Guelph and select surrounding communities, including Aberfoyle, Morriston, Rockwood, Hillsburgh, Elora, Fergus, Belwood, Breslau, Maryhill, St. Jacobs, Elmira, Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge, Branchton and Ayr.
Delivery eligibility is determined by postal code, which may not always reflect our exact service boundaries. If your address appears to be within our delivery area but isn't accepted at checkout, please give us a call and we'll be happy to look into it.
How are delivery times arranged?
To ensure smooth and successful deliveries, we contact each recipient directly to arrange a convenient two-hour delivery window. We do our best to accommodate requests for morning or afternoon delivery, but the final delivery window is coordinated with the recipient rather than the sender.
Can I send flowers as a surprise?
Absolutely! When contacting the recipient to arrange delivery, we won't reveal what's being delivered or who it's from.
If you prefer that we don't contact the recipient at all, flowers may be left at the door at your request, provided weather conditions are suitable. We cannot leave flowers unattended during extreme heat or cold. Please note that flowers left unattended at the sender's request are at the sender's risk, and Sweet Violets cannot be responsible for their condition if they aren't brought indoors promptly.
Do you deliver to schools and businesses?
Yes. We aim to complete deliveries to schools before 3 PM and businesses before 5 PM. If unforeseen circumstances prevent us from meeting these times, we'll be in touch to let you know.
When will I receive delivery confirmation?
Delivery confirmations for orders delivered before 5 PM are sent at the end of the day. For deliveries completed after 5 PM, confirmation is sent the following morning.
How does delivery work for À La Carte Wedding & Event orders?
All À La Carte Wedding & Event flowers are available for pickup from our downtown Guelph shop. Venue delivery may also be available within approximately 50 km of our location, including areas beyond our regular flower delivery zone.
Wedding and event delivery cannot currently be arranged through online checkout. If you'd like your flowers delivered, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm availability and delivery arrangements.
